Boise State kicks off online auction for athletic and academic scholarships
The Bronco Athletic Association and Boise State Alumni Association will hold an online fundraising auction that runs until 8 p.m., Nov. 2 at boisestateauction.com.
Items for bid include a football used in Boise State’s landmark 37-32 win over Oregon earlier this season and sideline passes to the upcoming football games against Utah State and Fresno State in Bronco Stadium. Other items for bid include:
Loge seating in the Stueckle Sky Club for six people on the 50-yard line for the Utah State game Nov. 8 – an experience and item that cannot be purchased any other way.
Loge seating for four on the 25-yard line at the Utah State-Boise State game Nov. 8.
A children’s birthday party hosted by the Boise State gymnastics or Boise State swimming and diving teams. The package includes a unique and fun-packed birthday bash in the Boise State gymnastics practice facility or Boise State pool with all the party accessories included.
Rental of Stueckle Sky Club facilities. The highest bidders will receive access to the sky club’s Skyline Room on the sixth floor for their next party or business event.
An authentic autographed Boise State football helmet and jersey and BSU men’s and women’s basketball jerseys and balls.
The online auction is sponsored in conjunction with Boise State’s Auction 2009, also sponsored by the BAA and the Alumni Association. The biennial auction will be May 9, 2009, at The Boise Centre on the Grove.

Idaho Stampede to play inter-squad at College of Idaho
The Idaho Stampede is teaming up with the College of Idaho for an inter-squad scrimmage Nov. 19 at 7 p.m. All proceeds raised will benefit the College of Idaho men’s basketball team.
For the Idaho Stampede, this is a great opportunity to see what their team might look like for the 2008-09 season. Head coach, Bryan Gates will make cuts to his roster after the game.
Tickets for the inter-squad game are $5. They can be purchased at the Idaho Stampede office, at the College of Idaho Activities Center in room 213 and at 459-5681. Fans may also purchase tickets at the door.
